Charity + Bobby at Serendipity Garden Weddings
We had the best time working with Charity and Bobby on designing their beautiful wedding at Serendipity Garden Weddings. The most perfect colored toffee roses throughout all the centerpieces and florals by Flowers by Mae Mae. Candles of all sorts of sizes and shapes and all the doggy details!
Kelsey Crockett captured the day perfectly and I’m so glad that she got all of these amazing detail shots. Some of my favorites details include the most pretty coral colored guestbook, that modern custom cardbox, and the individually packaged s’mores set up. Scroll down below to see all the goodies ~
Congrats Charity + Bobby! We’re so grateful to have been a part of your big day.
Wedding Vendor Payment Excel Template
My highly requested payment tracker template on tik tok!
As a wedding planner who handles several wedding budgets for clients, I could never find a template that was simple and easy to read — so here’s mine! Highly requested from my TikTok : )
It’s still a pretty simple template and you will have to input the formula’s yourself, but I hope this is helpful! Link to WEDDING VENDOR PAYMENTS TEMPLATE.
Wedding Invite & Save the Dates
Are you in need of save the date cards or wedding invitations? Look no further!
What better topic to talk about as my first blog than on wedding invites and save the date cards? Over the years, I have really developed a deep appreciation for beautiful stationary. Although, I shouldn’t be surprised as I constantly gravitate towards the stationary and office section at stores! Wedding invites, save the dates and all the other stationary involved on your wedding day are one of my favorite details of a wedding.
During the planning process with clients, save the dates are usually something that we discuss and plan for during the first few weeks. Reminder that these should go out about 6-8 months prior to your wedding date, or sooner if you have an international wedding! Save the date cards can simply be a card, a card with your engagement photo or even a magnet for your guests to stick on their fridge. One of my favorite places that carry all of these options plus more is from Basicinvite.com .
Not only do they have save the date cards, but also a large and beautiful library of wedding invites. From minimal designs, gold foil details, to even uploading and customizing your own design — they have it all! They also walk you through the different options and elements you can add onto your invitation suite. If you are wanting a single stand alone card with an addressed envelope, they got it. Wanting to go more fancy and add in multiple information and response cards? Quick and easy add on. The ease of ordering your save the dates and wedding invites through basicinvites.com is such a bonus on top of good quality product.
As a quick planning reminder, I like for wedding invitations to be sent out 8-9 weeks prior to the wedding. That time frame gives you a little cushion to call and nag any guests that haven’t RSVP’ed on time (tsk tsk). If you decide to hire any type of calligrapher to hand address your envelopes, add a couple more weeks onto that timeline and order extra envelopes just in case!
Wedding planning is a lot, and quite frankly - stressful. So when I find resources like basicinvites.com that make ordering save the dates and wedding invites so easy, I have to preach it to the world! I’ve already talked about the save the dates and wedding invites but what’s great is they even provide all of this:

Almost Unlimited Colors - Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. You can change the color of each element on a card, with over 180 different color options. The card can be exactly how you want it, down to the littlest detail. This is what sets us apart from any other online stationery company and is our biggest draw.
Custom Samples - Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order.
Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes - Customers can choose from over 40 different envelope colors so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be closed quickly and easily.
Free Address Collection Service - Use their free address collection service to request your addresses with just three simple steps. Share a link via social media or email, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing.
Seal & Send Wedding Invitations - Basic Invite’s seal and send wedding invitations are an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP postcard included! The Seal & Send is their newest collection and brides and LOVING them. Currently, they offer them in over 30 designs including their ever-popular foil options, and, like their other products, they are customizable. What's special about their Seal & Sends is that guest's addresses are printed on the front of each invitation so no envelope is necessary! All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold your invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple and easy.
